Program: The Nettle dress documentary

Join the Guild in viewing the documentary, The Nettle Dress. This film takes viewers on a seven year endeavour with textile artist Allen Brown who weaves a hand-spun dress from stinging nettles that he foraged locally. His story is also one of loss and grief, as he used this project to process the passing of his wife. After the program, we will have a short discussion about the documentary before finishing with a business meeting and show and tell.
