About

Going Strong for 85 Years

Founded in 1937, the Central Ohio Weaving and Fiberarts Guild has a rich history of advancing the knowledge and practice of weaving, spinning, and fiber-related arts.

Our members represent various skill levels and many facets of the fiber arts – weaving, spinning, knitting, crocheting, felting, and more.

We conduct monthly meetings September – May, host retreats, sponsor workshops by local and nationally known fiber artisans, and participate in demonstrations at fiber-related events such as the Ohio State Fair.

We also encourage education through the member equipment rental program, allowing members to try a wide variety of fiber tools without significant investment.

Our Mission

The mission of the Central Ohio Weaving and Fiberarts Guild is to stimulate interest in weaving and fiber arts by interaction with each other; to educate members through lectures, workshops and interest groups; and to encourage public interest in and appreciation of the fiber arts.
