April Guild Meeting: Ability Weavers

Come learn about Ability Weavers, a business in Lowell, Michigan which primarily focuses on offering an integrated work setting in which those with and without special needs work side by side. Many of their employees have autism or other special needs, Ability Weavers believe that every individual is worthy of having meaningful employment. For that reason, each weaver gets paid a real hourly wage, even above minimum wage. Ability Weavers encourage everyone to do their very best and to work to their highest potential.  Everyone is equally important, equally appreciated and fairly paid. After our presentation from Beryl Bartkus, the owner of Ability Weavers, the guild will have a short business meeting.
